Description
Lauren Monitz is currently the Communications Director at the City of Beaumont, a department she built from the ground up.
She’s had one of the most non-linear career paths one can possibly have, working with everyone from Fortune 500 B2B companies to over 100 brands in 25 states to manage their social media and content campaigns. She’s been published in Fodor’s, Trivago, AOL, MSN, The Food Network, USA Today, Eater, and Huffington Post, among others, and has 195K social media followers.
She moved to Southeast Texas from Colorado as a weird pandemic pivot to promote the uniqueness of the region with the Beaumont CVB. Sick of being told Beaumont is boring, she authored the book, 100 Things to Do in Beaumont, to show everyone all the gems that are right in front of them.
