This engagement was brief\, however\, as he then accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at Market Basket Food Stores\, where he began managing the financial and business affairs of the local retail supermarket chain\, for more than 27 years.\n\nIn addition\, Thomas is the owner of Cormier Homes\, the developer and builder of the Westwood Village and The Heights subdivisions in Lumberton\, Texas\, the Sterling Ridge community in Nederland\, TX\, and the Dominion Ranch community in Mid County. Not an individual to be limited to a singular purpose\, Thomas also plays a key role as Principal of AlbaneseCormier\, headquartered in Beaumont\, Texas. His varied background compliments this experienced management team\, composed of other Principals\, Michael and Eldon Albanese.
