Attendees at the Chamber's annual Legislative event will get an outstanding opportunity to learn about what local legislators are doing for you in Southeast Texas. This year we will hear from Congressman Weber\, Senator Creighton\, Representative Deshotel\, and Representative Phelan.\n\n\n\nWe will also hear from Dr. David Teuscher\, Regional Director District Six with Health and Human Services\, who will serve as our keynote speaker. Dr. Teuscher will speak to the priorities of Secretary Tom Price and what to expect with legislation on health care and the state's sunset review considered during the Texas special session.\n\n\n\nDuring the event\, the Chamber will recognize state legislators who have voted for issues important to our area. State Legislators who will be in attendance and accepting awards include Senator Creighton\, Representative Deshotel\, Representative Metcalf\, Representative Phelan\, Representative Reynolds\, Representative White\, and Representative Rodriguez.\n\n\n\nDon't miss this fascinating and highly educational event!
